Jenrose - when I was big into CVS (have cut back now), I used to dream about it. I DID lose my small binder in CVS once. Went right back and they said they did not have it. I didn't have much in it but it still upset me. I went back the next week and asked again and they had found it

This binder was really ratty and falling apart. Once I lost it at Target and I went back to get it and it had been turned into Lost and Found. I could see it behind the counter and boy they really made me jump through hoops to get it back - describing it exactly and what was in it etc. I was thinking "no one would really want this" and they were acting like it was made of gold or something.

As for organizing coupons. I only get 3 inserts a week so I cut them all out. I file them by category in file boxes that I got at Staples. I also carry a small binder with me into the stores. I only put the coupons I think I will use divided by store names in this binder. I usually put the file boxes in my car when I go shopping so that I can run out and get any coupons that I need but I do not take them into the store.

Yeah, I'm going for it!
I'm kinna stuck in the house today as I agreed to a 'play date' with my autistic son and his autistic friend.

BUT LATER TODAY.......oh yeah.

So I spent the morning cooking so I wouldn't go crazy thinking about bargains.
I made a big pan of jambalaya.
Then I cut up some red and yellow bell peppers for the freezer.

maybe I'll bake some of those free betty crocker chocolate chip cookies.

Ok, I'm here...trying not to spend much...but I've been so crazy busy with work I haven't even had time to get online OR shop. That and when there are literally no stores with deals around makes it easier to NOT shop (well - until you have gone a week without milk...:)) I have some spending totals to add - but I need to go find the reg tapes..

No oop again today. Got two great train and one trade envie in todays mail and sent out another train envie (lucky i hope you enjoy it!). Pretty relaxed day here. Hubs is (still) in Florida until Monday, so I'm just relaxing today...put some apples in the crockpot this morning to make applesauce and I've just been lazing around since, updating my wl (check it out, I need to get back into trading more often!!), organizing my coupons, doing some hw and budget stuff...that's about it...

Today's Meals...

Breakfast - Special K
Lunch - Hot Dog, bowl of vanilla yogurt and granola
Supper - Going out to a local place with my grandma, most likely her treat (she never lets me pay for anything....)
Snacks - Haven't really been snacking too terribly much today...

Just a little OOP today.

Walmart - 3 boxes Snuggle Perfume/Dye free dryer sheets
$3.48 shelf after Q -48 cents each. So I'm guessing $1.50 w/ tax. I still haven't figured out VA sales tax yet.

Went to BJs Wholesale (like Sams/Costco) we had a 2 month free membership offer. Decided to sign up for the year one, got a $10 OYNO Q and a coupon book with some free banana Qs and lots of other good Qs. And you can stack their Q w/ a Mfg. Q. The membership fee comes out of our special "moving expenses" budget as we are getting ready to move and we have to start over with furniture etc, so we have a special account for that and will probably use them and Costco maybe to get some of our household items.

The rainy cold weather chased us home. Just to yucky to be out running around.

B - cereal and Apple bread
L - leftover soup
D - ???? Chili is sounding good....or something nice and warm like that...

Has anyone seen (or heard) my voice? I seem to have lost it.
I tried to read DS1 a story before his nap (DS2 fell asleep on the way home and I carried him into bed) but I could barely finish the last few pages (Spookly the Square Pumpkin..such a cute book).

DH is still at the expo. I came home to put the boys down for a nap. We actually are doing pretty good selling stuff. But I'm not exactly sure how much we have made so far since we are also selling things for other people. I'm just happy that the more we sell the less will be returning to the garage. It is still packed without all the stuff he took out for the show.
