Looking For Good Stockpiling Prices ~ Check Here

Hi all,

I've been busy stockpiling using all the stuff I've learned here at HCW. My wife is amazed at how much cereal, toothpaste and maxi pads I've picked up for next to nothing.

Now, we've notice our toilet paper and papertowels supplies are starting to run low. So, I am trying to figure out a good deal price for these items.

What do you pay for TP? $.50 a roll? $.40? $.30? Does any quality brand seem to be on sale regularly? (I've noticed Angel Soft is on sale all the time.)

Same question with respect to papertowels.

well I refuse to use anything but charmin. I've tried to use other brands but they end up being a waste of money because you have to use so much of it vs charmin. I pay 50 cents a roll at sams cheapiest i've ever seen it. As for paper towel I rarely ever use them i use white bar towels for all clean ups and only use the paper towels for grease. Which took my paper towel expense way way down. I do how ever love the members mark paper towels that are exactly the same quality of bounty. They are 1.14 a paper towel roll for 2-ply.

I stockpile the cottonelle 4packs

I use the .50 WYB (2) 4 packs or larger.

I buy them at Kroger where they are 1.19 ea. so two are 2.38 my .50 coupon gets doubled so..

8 rolls of toiletpaper for 1.38 plus tax

works for me and mine.

want to start stockpiling papertowels as well but not sure what a good price would be.

The CVS Scanner has been printing coupons for $1 off 3pk CVS Papertowels. As I recall, they used to be $1.99 regular price for the "Earth Friendly" variety (which I like) so $0.99 for a 3pk was a good deal for me. Today they were priced at $2.49 for the 3pk! After the $1/1 coupon, they're about $0.50 per roll.

I stockpiled TP with the 50c/1 Cottonelle coupon. My Kroger has these for $0.99 and doubles, so they were 3 cents per 4-pack after the coupon. I think I have 96 4-packs, so I won't need TP for a LONG time!

I used the Marcal $1/1 paper towel coupons to get paper towel for free at Family Dollar. I just had to pay $0.06 tax per roll.

If you aren't brand specific, deals like this WILL come around. Then you just buy alot so that you don't need it again until you can get it for free!

I stockpiled the Cottonelle TP when the $.50/1 coupon was out and doubles made them free. There are $.50/2 out right now, I'll stockpile for that price too. We prefer Charmin, but in a pinch Free Cottonelle is better than nothing

We are pretty brand loyal to VIVA paper towels, son I am waiting for a good deal on those so that I can stock up.

walgreens has 9 rolls of Charmin for $4.00 and if you have any coupons even better.

I haven't started to look for TP yet. I wish doubles were common here because free TP sounds great!

For paper towels I really like Bounty. The Costco price is .89 a roll, which I figure is good, but not a great price. Today I stocked up with a sale at Safeway + store coupon and it worked out to .49 a roll.

TP - stockpile is full of free Cottonelle from Kroger. If you have a Kroger nearby there are some IP ones out there for .50. There are also some on the Cottonelle website for $1 (you have to make up a "pledge" of some sort before it takes you to the coupon page).

We go through a ton of paper towels here, and I'm not brand loyal. (although like a PP said the Viva brand is great - love it when a deal comes along on those!!) I have a bunch of paper towels from the last CVS deal, and last week at RiteAid Bounty was BOGO so with the $1/2 coupon they were .29. (I think) Right now, Walgreens has Bounty basic rolls for .89. With the $1/2 coupon that makes them .39 cents a roll which is still a decent price IMO. HTH!

I have alot of the bounty basic, but the quality is not the greatest, but they are fine for small spills and kids. I got a ton of the regular bounty 2packs after christmas at target 50% using the $1/2 coupons they were around $.25/roll for the big rolls.

I have never gotten the marcal papertowels or TP

Walmart white cloud is $2/4pack of double rolls and there are $1qs out alot, so I stock up on those for $.25/roll and they are comparable to northern ultra. I love cottonelle, but kroger is kinda far so I don't get to stock up as much as pp.
