I finally have something stockpiled!!

I used to have a very small stockpile of things (mostly BBQ sauce). Then furloughs and paycuts took everything-things are still pretty bad, but I stockpiled...

Dawn Essential dish soap-$1.99 at Kroger, got 11 for .49 each with $1.50 coup.
Bounty-$1.00 at Kroger, got 8 for .50 each with .25 coup doubled.

My goal for this summer (I'm off work until the end of Aug.) is to get a ton of HBA/cleaning stockpiled. I hate running out of stupid stuff and having to run to the store.

Thanks! I feel rich just knowing I have at least a years worth of dish soap. I do still have 3 boxes of Electrasol tabs from when they were free 2 years ago.

The thing I appreciate the most about couponing (besides paying very little money for things) is that you can stock up on things when they are cheap and you are less likely to have to run to the store for necessities. Glad you got a good deal!

I've only been at this for about 7 weeks. It's amazing how much money I've saved, and how all of the sudden I'm running out of storage room. I don't really have a stockpile, but I don't really need anything right now either. Just following the sales has really changed things around here. There is a far greater variety of foods for snacks and lunches. The funny thing is, these are items always thought were too expensive! I've been getting them for about $.50/box or even free!

Hang in there with the job and penny pinching. Things always turn around, just not always in the direction we are expecting.

Give yourself a pat on the back! I'm so happy for you! As you know, your family and mine have been rowing the same boat for a while. We used up a lot of our stockpile, but have been slowly building it back up. Right now, I need to start focusing on the hba stuff again. I've been so worried about running out of food, that I forgot we all need to be clean...and smell clean too!
