Attic Storage Discussion

i live in nj...hot summers cold winters...i dont have a garage or a basement:shrug7:i have mini stockpiles all over my house and im starting to feel like its a real mess and i need to get organized....i have done so much donating i feel like i need to start stockpiling so i dont have to shop constantly. please share if you have stored anything in your attics, i need help pleaseeeee!! heres the things im thinking of but im not sure. if anyone could help me out i would really appreciate it!!
shampoo and conditioner?
deoderant?
bar soap?
liquid soap?
paper products i think ok?
tampons and liners?
cleaners?
razors?
toothbrushes?
cleaners??
bandaids?
please any other ideas suggestions of anything i can move to my attic would be wonderful!!!!

I've stored paper products in the attic with no problem and I think that the toothbrushes and razors would store in the heat with no problem but I would be concerned about the other items. Heat can change the composition of some items. I think the sticky part of bandaids would be ruined in my attic but I am in Alabama and it's probably a lot hotter here than in NJ.

i wonder if it would be hot enough for the soap to melt?? anyone know?? oh and thanks to the above poster

I live in Texas, and here's what I currently have stored in my attic:
Shampoo and conditioner
Bar soap
Liquid soap
Deodorant
Razors (including Intuition with the soap already on)
Toothpaste and toothbrushes

I have in the past stored all of those in my garage as well. I continue to store the following in the garage:
Bar soap
Liquid soap
Dishwasher tabs
All-purpose cleaner
Air freshener
Scrubbing bubbles
Ajax
Pledge
Paper products

I've been stockpiling for about a year and a half, and I haven't had any trouble with melting or exploding products in either location or with decreases in product quality. To save space, I rely heavily upon stackable containers.

I'm in AZ where it gets 110. I have had dish soap, cleaning supplies, femine hyg and paper in my garage with no problems

Great topic. I was just talking to my sister about needing to put some of my stockpiled items in the attic. I figured I'd put paper products in plastic bins (just to keep dust and any stray bugs out) then stack those in the attic. At the moment I have room in a closet for other HABA items, but if I keep shopping like I have been that may change

Anyone store maxi-pads in the attic? I have a gazzillion in my garage, and I need that space for other things.- would the heat make the sticky strip not work?

i'd be more concerned about mice getting into them for their nest stuffing
