Default Re: What do I do with all these biscuits?

We make pocket pies out of them. Roll them out into a nice size circle, fill 1 half with filling of your choice. We have done chicken salad, ham, cheese and broccoli, pizza toppings, or dessert varieties of chocolate, strawberries. The sky really is the limit. Then fold the other half over and crimp the edges. Use a fork to poke a few holes, then bake in the oven. These are always a great hit at our house.

That sounds good, I have a ton of peaches in my freezer and could make tiny peach pies.

The Deen brothers had an idea that I've tried. Little pizza balls.

flatten out the biscuit, put inside a piece or two of pepperoni and cheeze. Fold over and make a little ball.

Put them on a greased cookie sheet, like 400 degrees 5 minutes or so. Watch them, I forget the exact timings. They were good, but my SO said I needed to put more pepperoni and cheese.

BBQ Cups

Cook hamburger until done, mix with barbeque sauce. I have been making these for 30 years, and no longer have any idea what the recipe is. I just add enough sauce to make the meat stick together, and be a little saucy. Grease or spray muffin tin, and line each cup with a flattened biscuit, pulling the dough up the sides of the cup. Fill cup about 3/4 full with meat mixture. Sprinkle with grated cheese, and bake following the biscuit directions. Whole Grands biscuits do not work well for this recipe, but I did try cutting each biscuit in half, and rolling out the half. That worked pretty well.

I have done these with sausage for breakfast, and once with an egg mixture as well, but we like the BBQ cups the best.

This is one of my husband's favorites. I also add chopped onions and some brown sugar to this mix. YUMMY!!!

I also vote for the monkey bread and donuts... I really need to make some of these next weekend.

Apple Danish

1 brick of cream cheese mixed with a 1/2 cup sugar.
Dice some apples mix with cinnamon sugar or any apple pie spice..
flatten biscuit just a little, spread with some cream chees mixture place apples on top, bake at 350 until biscuit is cooked.
when they are slightly cooled you can top with ice cream, a glaze, or just some caramel ice cream topping.. they are good.. try them..

Fried apple pies are great made with these. Some people like to bake them but, the fried taste so much better to me. You can use the chunky applesauce it works with making fried pies too.

I mash a can of them together and roll out to use as pizza dough if we're out of mix. It turns out fairly good :)
