Freezing Smart Balance Milk

Can I freeze Smart Balance Milk in a carton? I know you can freeze milk in the plastic jug but I have never tried the carton size before.

Yes, you can. I usually pull out my Smart Balance milk from the freezer in the morning and by night time it's usually thawed out. The carton is completely fine.

I don't know from personal experience, but I seem to remember some posts on HCW saying that because the milk expands when it's frozen, to first pour out a little from each carton. Maybe someone who has frozen milk (cartons and/or jugs) can confirm whether that above tip is accurate.
