    Have had chest frz for all my life.
    The key is to remember what's in there and where.
    Keep a log book if you have to.
    Mine is divided usin regular boxes in the bottom.

    As a hobby farmer, I really NEED the chest freezer for our produce.
    So I guess it's a lifestyle thing then.

    I love our chest freezer! It's not all that organized right now, but thanks to a PP who mentioned the $ store baskets, it will be!! I had stuffed our fridge freezer so much that the BF went and got the chest freezer for me to stuff!! Getting to the bottom is a little annoying, but at least I'm 5'6, so my feet don't dangle in the air when I'm trying to get something from the bottom. But, all in all, I love it. Good luck
