Storing my Stockpile? Can I freez in original packaging?
My shelves are in my laundry room. Right now all I have in there is Electrosal but, I just bought the Ritz and Wheat Thins, can I store them in my laundry room or will the heat make them go bad? My laundry room doesn't get that warm but, there is humidity. Should I just freeze and can I freeze in original packaging?

Re: Storing my Stockpile?
I don't store any cleaning supplies with food. I was told it could be dangerous.
Please pray for my family.
Please keep Elizabeth in your prayers. She lost her Father on 2/19/2012.

Re: Storing my Stockpile?
My laundry room is adjacent to my kitchen. And to be honest, our furnace and water heater are in there too. One wall of my laundry room is shelving/cabinets. It's where I store all of my food stockpile items. My cleaning supplies are stored in a closet in the hallway, so they're not near the food items.
I haven't had any problem with the heat in the room, ruining any of my stockpile items. But...my laundry room really isn't any warmer than any other room in the house. Crackers don't do well if there's a lot of humidity, though. Just a thought.

Re: Storing my Stockpile?
Crackers and chips and the like can be stored in the freezer.

Put in the freezer in original packaging?
