the cashiers at Meijer must think I have my own humane society with all the free Purina cat food I've been stockpiling!

Mine would have to be anything I bought along with KY at WM about 2 years ago. I would buy multiples of it along with whatever else I was getting.

not true here! got 1 tonight at walmart- took 20 min to checkout, I had like 30 items.. 10 of 1, 15 of another, no problems w/ my Q's scanning, he was just plain SLOW....he looked at my Q's like I was handing him monopoly money or something! needless to say- the customers behind me, ALL changed lanes! I figure it to be "His" fault, not mine, since I myself was getting irritated w/ the amount of time it was taking.

I will admit- I'm a Target girl! our ST is always fast, friendly, hardly ever have any issues using my Q's. but sometimes I have to "nut up" and go to wally world! Last time I was @ our ST, the lady behind me in line asked where I get all my coupons. Quite often I will remark to the person behind me in line, "I have a lot of coupons, you might want to go to another line", often they stay, and watch the total work it's way down.

My husband calls it robbing the grocery store...

I'm so glad I saw this topic....it makes me feel much better knowing its not just me. LOL
I get nervous thinking 'OMG I hope I picked the right cashier today" LoL I can feel my face get warm and red when I hand them the coupons as I am just waiting for them to say something stupid.
like the other day at FD when I had (6) $1/1 tooth brush coupons and 6 tooth brushes. She said "it says 1 per purchase". After I said "per purchase, not per Transaction..." she gave me a look like 'I'm only going to do this for you because I'm not in the mood'.....you know what I mean?

Otherwise if its just something marked down super cheap and I don't have many coupons, or any at all, I don't care. That doesn't make me nervous at all. Infact 90% of the time the cashiers will say "wow what a good deal!"....its just the mass coupons that turn them into evil people! ;-p
