You can avoid the cashier all together, check out at the u scan with 50 bottles of Sobe, and scan 50 $.50 coupons that double.

This is a true story. I did this 6 months ago.

The check out manager gave me a look, I

If your first store is out, take tis easy, and request a rain check!

I think its less nerve wracking if you have multiple items w/coupons to go when the store isn't very busy & they don't have long lines - it is for me anyway. I get stressed when there are a ton of people behind me in line waiting for the cashier to scan all the coupons. When I had the free cat treat coupons I would get 10 at a time.

It depends on my mood and the stock at the store. Some weeks I'll do 2-3 transactions in a row, some times I'll go to the same store 4 or 5 times, and if I'm lucky enough to have sufficient time and energy I'll go to the 2-3 stores that are within a reasonable drive.

Also it is true that the more you do it the easier it gets. I used to be so scared to ask to do multiple orders, but now it's an everyday thing for me.

Just do what you are comfortable with. If the store is busy you could do one small order, take it to your car and go back to do another order with another cashier and no one will be the wiser.

Depends on the store for this one...MOST U-scans have a limit of 3-4 like coupons. This hold true at Meijer and Walmart and our local grocer :shrug7:

I just do what everyone else does. Smile and say I have a large family

I've bought 50+ of the same item at Walmart before. They know me there though

Thumbs Up Re: Stockpiling - Nervousness at the registers

If they look at me funny, I mention that there are several people in my church that are sick or just lost their jobs and that I give them these items. (which is very true). I tell them that this is my way of helping them, and since I have coupons, it's not costing me very much and that's how I am able to help them. Everyone wins!!!
