i freeze mine every year just defrost in the fridge then on a plate in the micro for about 30sec. before I serve.
I wanted to make a HUGE batch of sausage balls--sausage, Bisquick, shredded cheese, baked in the oven--and was wondering if they can be frozen after cooking. I hate to experiment and end up wasting something, and I also don't want them to sit in the refrigerator for 2 or 3 weeks and go bad.
TIA!!

Thanks so much! I figured it would be all right but I wanted to check before I went to a lot of trouble and then ended up wasting something!
do you add jalepano sauce to yours?
or how do you get them spicey?
Thanks

I freeze meat balls all the time so that I do not have to make them from scratch for Spaghetti - never had a problem.
2 lb sausage brown and drain
2 cups sharp chedder cheese shred
3 cups bisquick
4-6 tblsp Milk
1 tsp salt
if you like spicy then use spicy sausage or add the *juice
*jalepano juice to taste if you want.
mix roll into balls bake
350 for 20 min.
easy and you can freeze them and warm later.
These are good cold or warm
on Superbowl we add dipping sauces like cheese, bbq, or guac. to dip them in

I recently started using Bisquick. There are some good recipes on their site. One I like is the Impossibly Easy Sausage Bake or something like that.
When I've made Sausage balls, they seem to be dry. What might I be doing wrong? How big of a ball do you roll?
