I love those plastic roller carts with several drawers in them. For added seperation I also use those plastic shoe boxes (they have them at Big Lots for $1 each).
My stockpile is fairly well organized . . . except for the medicines. I just can't figure out a system for them that works. Obviously the medicine cabinet is not significant enough for all of it. So what's the answer? Give myself more space between med types? Bins? Drawer system? I can't decide.

I don't keep anything much in the med cabinet.
I have a couple of open topped bins on the shelves of the linen closet for stuff that's in active use. One for first aid type stuff: cold packs, bandaids, hydrocortizone, neosporin, iodine, etc. and one for meds: gas, antacids, cold meds, etc.
The back stock is in plastic drawer units in the bottom of the linen closet.

Totes with lids works pretty well for me. To separate stuff in the totes I use those plastic shoe boxes. And I keep that tote (med's) out of reach of the kids.

I keep the stockpile in labeled shoe boxes that I put at the top of my linen closets.
These are so fun!
My favorite solution for organizing those boxes and tubes of meds is to first take everything out of the bathroom cabinets. Only put things in the bathroom that you will be comfortable having guests see if they decide to get sneaky and open up your cabinets when they go into your bathroom. This happens a lot. Make sure every label is readable and also make sure that you don't have an excessive amount of things as most of us do. Have what you need and use what you have. Now take the select few, non-prescription meds in your bathroom, grab an inexpensive storage container with a lid and place your prescriptions in the container and house it in a linen closet or in a drawer in your bathroom. If the medicine is sealed in a container people are far less likely to snoop. For more solutions go to www.ocdexperience.com. O.C.D.- Organize & Create Discipline.
