Freezer Questions
A coworker has offered me her freezer, but says that it needs freon... Anyone have any experience with having a freezer worked on? I know free is free, but I can't afford to have it taking up space if it's going to be crazy expensive to get repaired.
Also, it's just a freezer. What's the difference between a regular stand alone freezer & a deep freezer?

Re: Freezer Questions
I dont know anything about freezers really.....
but I know that stuff stays good longer in a deep freeze than a regular freezer.... and I bought my deep freezer for about $250 at Sams club a few months ago..... that was the cheapest I found, its a decent size but not huge.(just for comparison to the cost of the freon....)
I would call an appliance place that does repairs and ask for a quote on getting the freon put in it and see how you feel about what they say.....

Re: Freezer Questions
My concern would be WHY it needs freon. Most likely your repair bill will be for more than just the charge.

These are so fun!
