Re: Another use for all the Pert Shampoo It's a bit of trial and error I guess, and it would depend on what type of shampooer you have. I have a Hoover Agility, which has two seperate containers for clean soapy water and waste water. I have a measuring cup to mix the cleansing water solution, and I just use as much as recommended, maybe a tad less. The worst that happens with this shampooer, is I get too much foam when I suck up, and need to empty the waste container more often than usual. I do a last "go over" round with plain water [and flea killer] anyway, to get the extra soap out.
My previous shampooer was a pain as it had a waterline running from the faucet into the shampooer and the soap got mixed into the water during useage. I wouldn't recommend that type of shampooer unless you don't mind a bit of experimenting with.
I like my cleansing water as hot as I can get if from the tap [I always shampoo with hot water, gets cleaner that way] and then add enough shampoo to get a nice soapy feel when I test it with my fingers - I think you know what I'm trying to say.
What type of shampooer do you use?
