I did a long time ago, but it was before I came here. I was selling on ebay anyway & very much in need of the income. I decided to try something lightweight after researching that some of them sold really well. It was the Colgate whitening brush-on stuff. They don't even sell it anymore, I don't think.

I made sure it was legal to send internationally & I sold one to a lady in Israel who got it for her daughter & one to an American woman teaching in Japan.

I sold some denture adhesive on amazon a while back, and some clinical strength deodorant. Almost everything that I have that I considered selling online sold for so little I figured it wasn't worth the time and effort. And after seeing that pretty much everything sold at our garage sale I wouldn't go through the hassle of online selling that stuff. ( I used to sell a lot of other things online, like collectibles, but I guess the economy wrecked that... or maybe the ebay ship just sunk last year.... who knows.)

I had so many OB tampons I was good until menopause...I decided to sell them when I saw how much they were selling for and I got them for sales tax only....I got what I considered to be a nice bit of money at the time...I have also sold Crystal Light and got a pretty penny for it...

I was surprised how well my StayFree Maxi Pads sold at my yard sale. Plus the body wash, toothbrushes, dental floss and make up. I thought for sure it was a waste to put it out...but it ALL SOLD! Most I sold for $1 each...considering I got it for free, I think I did OK. Now I buy if it is free since I know I can sell it at least once a year at our community yard sale.

I don't buy things I don;t need - so I have no real stockpile. I use ebay to sell things that I no longer need (and sometimes I get stuff and change my mind) But I buy whereever I can. I LOVE other stockpilers yard sales. I know they got it for free but they also took the time to buy the paper, clip the coupons, go to the store. stand in line, and time is something I don't have a lot of. Most stockpile sales ( I say most because a few are selling for cvs retail and that is just crazy to me??) are priced reasonably so I still get a deal. Just a few weeks ago - I got pens (not cheap right now and we needed them), scrubbing bubbles cleaner, some foods, and I forget a few more things. it was a community sale and as soon as I saw the lady I went right for her booth. My only wish is that she would have had the stuff on tables - she had it on the ground in boxes and it was killing my knees and back to be digging through. I even had a card table in my car and was tempted to go get it for her.

oh so true
I have closed up my store that I had for 7+ years....it turned into only Christmas time I could sell my stuff. Last year after Christmas I put the last of what didn't sell into one lot and sold it for about $1.25 each (shirts). Ebay has made it all about the buyer and forget the sellers (especially us smaller guys). They forget that it was the small sellers that made them what they are.

The only stockpile I ever sold on eBay was Knox gelatine. I had large flat rate box full of boxes of them and we don't use that, so I sold the whole box for like $25.

Im way to lazy for ebay. taking pics, posting a listing, packing it up and driving to the post office. meh yepp im lazy. Ive never had a yardsale in my life either. But ive also only been doing this since around march. I have a nice stockpile going on. maybe by spring next year i may do a yardsale though. Ill have kids clothes to sell as well. I dont see a prob with ebay. or yardsales. I mean you got it for super cheap or free. and your selling it cheaper then the stores that sell them. so other people can afford to buy these from you versus going to the store. SOme people would get super excited to get some nivea body wash for 1 or 2 bucks versus spending 6 bucks at a store or more on it! and you prob only paid tax on it. so it helps you get money if ya need the money and helps the people with little cash get something nice for super cheap! I like admiring my stockpile right now hehe. If i did a yardsale id want some better items to sell like from my house not counting selling some stockpile. Like how people do have some high ticket items and such. I think my yardsale would blow lol. Its fun giving to family and friends though! I may give my sister some come november when i gotta drive to pick her up and take her here for a few days then drive to NY. she might end up with a box of stuff to take up with her!

I agree with some other posters - I think it would cost more to list/ship then worth it. I was thinking about trying craigs list though. Has anyone done that?
