I Do Some Shopping After A Holiday ... The Next Year "cheap Cheap Cheap"
To Decorate And Have Fun...also When There's Great Gifts Left And Someone Says "i Wish I Got That" If I Find It,i Buy It And Give It To Them Next Year!
I love to stockpile food and the like, but I have to admit my weakness is stockpiling gifts and holiday items. When everything goes 90% off at Wal-Mart after the holidays, I tend to go crazy.
It makes sense for me just because I have a large extended family and we exchange gifts frequently. I also stockpile a lot of seasonal/holiday items because we are always having parties, and my contribution is always cookies and/or stockpiled goodies I got last year (like seasonal paper plates, decorations, etc).
My Mom used to stockpile children's clothing for when the women in the church had babies, but now she just stockpiles for my daughter. :D

I stockpile gifts, I have one whole closet that is nothing but gifts. I usually won't pay full price for any gift.
i have to admit, i just started stockpiling food... but my first stockpiling experience was gifts... i have 2 closets full of gifts!!!
I'm back! 2 years was way to long :)
I only stockpile a few gifts, but might start doing more. I do buy wrapping paper after Christmas when it's super cheap. I make sure to get some plain paper that we use during the year for birthdays (just green/just red) and then some Christmas stuff for next year. I also buy bows, boxes, and tissue paper like this, and I buy some new ornaments every year after Christmas for next year. I rarely spend more than $5 for the ornaments and all the wrapping items for the whole year. (And I still have tons of wrapping stuff right now from last years sales.)
i stockpile gifts, gift bags, tissue paper. Keep it all together on a shelf and my family can pick out one for an appropriate occasion.

I have been stockpiling holiday items since I was in undergrad. I'm always out the day after Halloween, Christmas, and Easter grabbing the good stuff. I'm excited because next Halloween I have these awesome lights for outside! I also stockpile gifts when I see them, though I don't have that many saved up yet.
I have my war chest - a big closet full of gifts - in the garage. Great for all the teacher and busdriver gifts, etc that I need. I also stockpile clothes - have things that won't fit the boys for several years. I am a stockpileaholic I've decided!

I just started stockpiling seriously a few months ago, so this will be my first "After Christmas" to really stock up for next year. I do buy things when I find them on a really good clearance that I know I will be able to give as gifts, but I will definitely be concentrating on it more this year. Not going crazy of course, but getting some good deals none the less.
Married since '01 to my Joe, and Finally, Finally Mommy to 3!Daughters, ages 5 and 2, and our son, age 1. Back home with us August 2011 after an attempted adoption August 2010. So thankful!
I stock up on gifts for my daughter! I just buy things when I see them. I know her well enough to know what she will and won't want and just hold on to them. She either gets them at special times, just when she gets a new belt in kung fu or starting/finishing school or good grades. Her birthday is dec 15th then 10 days later is Christmas so financially we have to stock up all year! I was done shopping for her birthday and christmas by October 15th wahoooo! Of course I did find some game boy advance games today on sale that I couldn't resist sooooooo she get a bonus for Christmas! She WAS going to get Aqua dots .... so much for that!
