It's been 3 years. I am not sure I remember.

It may have been 10 bottles of free barbeque sauce.

Van Camp baked beans. About 100 cans. Paid $0 (well of course tax).
Deal was usual one, on sale 3 cans for $1; had coupons for $1/3.

Next deal was free electrasol. Blinkies out for $2/1 any. The geltabs were at Walgreens for $1.84. Got 20 boxes.

Since I am new at this my first stockpile items were Duracell batteries, pantene shampoo, Ivory soap and crest toothpaste (all done at Kmart) :) My dh who was not sure of this at all was blown away right at the beggining - Yea! I hope he is happy when he gets home tonight - Today I got 8 post it notes for free (from Kmart). At Smiths before coupon my total was $42 after it was $18 and at Albertsons before coupons was $111 and after $59. For me that is awesome! I am going to run to Sams later at get some milk, bread, hamburger and chicken - which will make me over my grocery budget for the week - but next week I will have to buy hardly anything at all so it should balance out.

Default Re: your first...

Mine was toilet paper!

12pk double rolls at Scott (1.99) and 12pk Cottonelle (1.50 + ecb so who knows actual total) on sale the same week - 2 different stores.

DH was like... what are you doing when I kept bringing more and more home.

LOL, we'll always use TP... we are still living off that stockpile and have yet to see a better deal recently.

My first major stockpile items (I'd always had some things in mass, but nothing like this one)....

90 Pledge Grab-it mop starter kits (like the swiffers) + 50 free boxes of scrubbing bubbles tabs. Total value - $2000 - paid Zero. That was the same year as the free electrosal offers - $2 blinkies and everyone had them for $1.99. I only just started buying electrosal again this year - bought like 10 boxes, then they were free again, so I am set for another few years.

Mine was Suave shampoo/conditioner. It was on sale for .77 and had B1G1 for it, and the register was taking the full 1.25 off when the q scanned, so only paid .29 for every 2 bottles. Now 3 years later, it's hard to imagine being in a place where I am willing to pay anything for shampoo or conditioner!

I got like 15 or so bottles of Suave. Mostly used the $1 off coupons at Walmart where they were $.96

That, and the GUM toothbrushes.

Haven't gotten much more than that, unless you count the El Paso taco kits when I used the $.65 coupons at Publix when they were B1G1F.
