Mine were Angel Soft and McComormick Seasoning. Paid less than 10 dollars on tax. I literally have enough for the next 5 years. I have over 250 of each. I had alot of rainchecks.

My first stockpile item was about 25 Garnier Fructis shampoos/conditioners/stylers from Walgreens that I paid $0.99/each. It was in January when I didn't know that you could buy coupons from ebay or that sales repeat themselves! Then comes March, and the free shampoo is back! Oh well, I still paid less than half of what I would have paid had I bought it at Wal-Mart without coupons, so I can live knowing that.

As for food, that didn't come until late April/early May with 10 boxes of Special K cereal at 0.39 each {Target deal}.

First big stock pile was Del-monte canned veggies. Sale price 4/$1, different cpns .40/5, .30/3 doubled. Made money one most cans, Since you had to buy 12 at a time to get the unlimited rebate $1.25/12. Stopped counting at 120 cans. Shortly afer that TP, for average .10 a roll, had the equalivent of 120 rolls and I lived alone then. Then my fave was Progresso for .12 - .25 a can. Biggest challenge was finding space for over 150 lbs of goodlife cat food, when the $4 cpns came out a few years ago.

20 bottles of Kraft BBQ sauce (that I actually bought today). This will probably last us a good two years unless we start BBQing everything in sight!

My first stockpile item was huggies wipes at Target in 07. This was the first time it was brought to my attention how awesome coupons really are. I don't remember how many we ended up with but hubby even enjoyed it. It was a lot of fun going in and getting those and after Christmas clearance and watching the cashiers freak out when we walked out with full carts for $5. I aslo stock piled Polly Pockets for dd's Christmasthat year.

My first stockpile item, though I just started, are the Betty Crocker Potatoes. We have 10 boxes, all of which I got for .20-.30 cents a box. And with 2 pouches in them, with each pouch lasting 2-3 nights, those are some cheap taters. Haha.

My husband has got to the point where he looks at my grocery list and says "we don't need any more of those", haha. When I tell him the price, he changes his tune haha.
