I got the Oust Fans when they were new- There were free coupons for them.
I had been using coupons for a while, but I always bought ONE paper. I had seen the 2-packs, and wondered, Who would buy TWO papers!?

Now I know. That was the first time I bought 6 papers just to get the fans, and realized I could now get alot of stuff at once, instead of just one at a time!

That was WAY before I knew that sites like this one even existed....

I'm new too, so my first was the pantene - paid .44 per bottle- I have around 20 bottles in the closet. I also hit the 1.99 Scott toilet paper sale, but didn't get as many of those as I should have. After that I began cleaning out every cabinet and closet just to make room for stockpile.

My DH said this morning, I don't think we will need toothpaste for a year, and I told him I am getting more next week, he just laughed and said 'I suppose you aren't going to pay anything for it, are you'. I laughed and said 'How'd you know?' -- I also can't imagine paying full price for items. I look at prices alot differently now. You guys have warped my mind and I'm loving every minute of it! LOL

I just started last week, so not too much. I got my feet wet at Walgreen's with the Pantene/Venus/Crest deal. Only a couple each of those. Then I got the .14 wipes at WM (10), the free scrubbing bubbles (5), .45 bandaids, .65 softsoap (Oh how I wish we got doubled Q's!!), and .66 Smucker's 2 lb jars.

I know we're not doing the smoking FREE deals yet, but this is a really good start for us! I can't wait to be a world class stockpiler! LOL!

Mine was Aquafresh toothpaste for free at Fry's (Kroger). I have about 50 tubes - DH says he is going to annul our marriage if I "buy" another tube of TP!

First pseudo stockpile was Campbells Select soups a few years ago, Giant had them for less than $1, and part of $8 back WYB 8, and we were eating alot of soup at the time.

First item that converted my shopping behavior to stockpiling was last Fall, 80 boxes of Quaker instant oatmeal, free - overage depending on the flavor. DH was so upset with me, until he went to the store with me, and he rang up one set of the deal and the cashier handed him cash back along with his bags of 10 boxes. He was so excited

My first stockpiles were Aquafresh and Degree deodorant last fall. The Aquafresh was free and the deo was about .18/ea (I think?). I still have some of each remaining.

My first stockpile was V05 shampoo and conditioner. I got 30 some odd number and we do still have some. Not long after that I got the vive and sunsilk at CVS so we are still swimming shampoo.
