Toilet Paper, It hurts my head!

I have yet to find a store here that carries the Marcal 4 packs...I have the coupons, but no toilet paper to be found.

I lucked out.. and I'm trying to talk a friend into going with me to get more. They give me strange looks when I get 12... can u imagine the looks I am going to get with 50 packs?...
And it isn't the "stealing items by getting it for free"... just the "what in the hell do you need with that much TP..."

Oh well... going to 5 families besided mine..

I find that I go buy how much the toliet paper cost per sq ft. That way i don't have to get confused by how much it is per roll. Also I just skip right over the 1 ply unless its almost free because you have to use twice as much. I also would never ever buy scott or charmin red why wipe your tush with that when there are paper towels that feel the same lol. Ouch. I never see free tp :( so if i can find 2-ply tp for 25 cents a roll i stockpile it.

At walmart I will buy the white cloud with a coupon.

Otherwise I find I get a better deal at Family Dollar or Dollar General and get Angel Soft or Scott.

I don't like Charmin and I dont' like Cottenelle.

If may resort to buying the cheap stuff at Sam's Club...the itchy kind made more for business.....just for my kids bathroom...

Thanks for the White Cloud Q I was able to print each of them 4 times!

I went to Walmart last night and it is actually easier there because they atleast have the 4 roll packages, my grocery store doesn't carry many 4 packs.

I have gotten the Marcal ONCE then my regular store has stopped carring it I even have a raincheck-but it has been discontinued. I have another store that carrys it but only the 12pks and it is out of the way.

I am happy to know I am not alone. I guess free TP most likely isn't in the cards for me. I have found it on clearance at Walgreens and used some RR and Q to get it for super cheap. I never see it really cheap at CVS or where it generates enough ECB for it to be considered. I guess I will just stick with buying it at Walmart or when I see what I think is a really good sale at my grocery store. I guess my issue is when I see peoples stock piles and they have a huge amount of TP in it I just don't understand how they get it. But then again, I assume they are getting it for free, and that may not be the case.

For some reason I like getting the 4 packs it just makes it easier to calculate maybe I feel like I am getting a better deal just because each pack is less.

The rolls aren't always the same width (and have shrunk) so Square foot doesn't work in my head.

Ok, I have a question. I went to their website and the only $2 mq they had was for 24 ct pack or $1 off Green Earth kind. I did not print it as I thought you could not use it on a 4 double roll pack.

We use Marcal small steps- It's cheap and better for the environment- plus septic safe and made of recycled.

My family teases me that if I could MAKE my own TP, I would!
I so resent paying for it.
Awhile ago, I had some time, and I went to ALL of the stores in my area, and made a list of prices,brand, ply and size, any variable i could, and found a no-fail go-to brand.

If I don't have any coupons, the most I will pay for a double roll 12ct, is $5 or $.42 each.
It has really simplified it for us.
If I have extra Wags RR, then I find the best deal whether on sale or not that is almost free with RR, even if it is $.75/roll.
