HELP Help!! I need some ideas!

I have been trying to stockpile for a while now, but the only store that offers great deals once in a while is my local Safeway. There are other stores about 40 minutes away, but for me, finding the extra time to travel is nearly impossible. We have a Walmart, but the prices are higher at ours, so often free things for other people aren't free for me. I am also very short on time, spending hours clipping the coupons from the inserts and browsing to find the printables. I get lots of homemailers, but rarely get blinkies or hangtags lots of other people get. I go to school full time and also work full time. I also have 4 kids who are busy bodies. I seem to not get the good deals, and I'm tired of missing out because I didn't have time to do the clipping. I live in a small town. Anyone have any great ideas? For organizing more efficiently? For getting better deals or time-saving ideas?:shrug7:

Do you get your inserts for free or do you have to buy them?? If you have to buy them, maybe you should just start buying already clipped coupons. I've started doing this more and more...you just have to watch sales and get on the ball with ordering coupons so that they will come in time.

I live in a small town also, with just a small overpriced WalMart, a Dollar General and a Fareway. All the other stores I shop (Walgreens, CVS, HyVee, SuperWalmart, Target, etc.) are all 40 minutes away. I make Sunday afternoon "my time" and drive into town and do my shopping. Maybe you could block off a few hours here or there to do some shopping? I work full time and go to school as well, and I feel your pain on finding time to clip the coupons. I do it when hubs and I are watching tv or a movie. He doesn't mind, and my clipping all gets done instead of just sitting in front of the TV being unproductive. But like pp mentioned, if you know you'll only shop for certain deals, then maybe think about just buying clipped coupons that you need, or do a trade here offering ppef or cc for the coupons you need.
