Good price for toilet paper and paper towels...

...in an area that NO stores double coupons?

I've got quite a nice stockpile starting to build, but toilet paper and paper towels are skimpy. No stores here double coupons, and I've read a lot about this board buying and stocking up at Kroger. Oh how I miss the south. :sad:

For those of you who stockpile these things in areas that they do NOT double coupons, what do you normally pay?

I just bought a lot of TP, it was .25 for 2 pkgs of 4 count cottonelle. They were the single rolls but it is by far the best I have seen here. Paper towels... still trying to figure it out myself. I have paid .35 for one roll but it seems pretty spend to me so I don't usually buy any.

I got a pretty good deal last week on toliet paper and paper towels. Sale price was 2/12, toliet paper was 12 double roll and paper towels were 8 roll pk. so 2/12 -$1 q on each and my store gave a $3 cat for every 2 pk you buy. So the total was $3.50 each, I bought a lot I try to keep a year or more stock.

50-60c per roll on both items is about the best i can do in my area

For tp since i only use charmin anything less that 51 cents a roll.for a paper towel roll less than 1.14 a jumbo roll.

I dont know if you are interested, and I really don't even know if this is a good deal because we usually buy Cottonelle. Walmart has the Angel Soft 4 pack (regular rolls)for $1.00. With the $.50� coupon from last weeks paper it only costs $.50� for the 4 pack.

I know they are single rolls, but is this a good price for stockpiling?

I also live in the LOND. For me, I try to pay .50/roll for paper towel & .15/roll for toilet paper. If the toilet paper is 'double rolls', then I figure .30/roll. KWIM? I usually end up paying more for toilet paper though. That's my goal price.

Bounty single rolls will go on sale for .99 at Rite-Aid and other locations. There are usually $1/2 coupons available thru the P&G inserts. That makes them .50/roll, and I like the quality of Bounty.

I have never seemed to find a super-great deal on toilet paper, and managed to stock up. Scott Extra Soft 4-pks occasionally go on sale (not often, but it does happen) for $1. When that coincides with a .75/1 or $1/1 coupon, then I get excited. =)

i say YES YES YES in my area it's very hard to get a GREAT tpaper deal

I only use cottonelle or charmin and usually buy whatever is less. I don't stockpile b/c I just started really picking up deals. I usually just buy what I need. I was able to get 6 packs of cottenelle double rolls for $5.49 per pack on sale. Then I put a coupon on top of that and ended up paying $.40 per roll. I was happy with that. CVS limited you to 2 packs per person which was fine b/c I only had 2 cottonelle coupons.
