It does make you mad when they dive in and demolish everything in the blink of an eye - that used to happen but now they realize and appreciate the whole idea behind stockpiling (that or they truly are afraid of the beast - lol).

This makes me laugh... I have done the same thing and have even so far as to put something in a container totally different from what the label says just to throw everyone off. They now ask "is this ok to open" or "is this really ----".

Dh eats up all the goodies, But when it comes to actually having to COOK, there is nothing to eat. Lazy lazy laxy!!!

My husband and son do the same thing. If it is cookies or candy they can just grab they will eat it faster than I can buy it. If it has to be cooked/baked they are to lazy to do that, so I can keep brownie mix, cake mix etc in the pantry.

Yep same here, all the crackers/snacks/cookies/cereal gets eaten first, then everything in the freezer. If you have to add water/boil on the stove, then it's too much work!! So mixes and boxed goods are safe here.
