I learned my lesson last spring when the Sweet Sue's chicken coupon was out. I had about 90 coupons, getting that many cans for .25c each. I thought they would last for two years or more. When the coupon came out again a few months ago, I had none left in my cupboard. I managed to snag about 125 qs this time around. Should be enough for a year, but I use it for so many recipes that if that coupon runs again, I may need 200 or more. eeks!

I love this thread because I am currently stockpiling sugar. I read on MSN that sugar is going up, up, up. And to be honest, sugar has gone up 10% in the last two weeks at Walmart. I bought a couple each week after I read that so I had maybe 6 before the price went up.

Meanwhile Domino's came out with a 35 cents off 1 coupon. Publix has a 5 lb. bag on special for $1.99, which is $1.00 less than their regular price and $1.32 less than Walmart's. I ordered 12 coupons, but my new hubby looked at me like I was crazy.

So I only bought 6. Tomorrow I will manage to "pass by" Publix and buy another 6. I'm actually hoping they will run out, and I can get a raincheck instead. But I KNOW we will use the sugar in the next year or so, and $1.29 for 5 lbs (my Publix doubles) is an INCREDIBLE price.

Body wash! Seems like it's always free after ECB's or RR's at CVS and Wags. Thought I'd gone overboard, but then I started reading that people were using it to fill hand soap dispensers - love it!

Also I am already collecting stuff for some awesome holiday gift basket for the kids' teachers - the best of the body wash, but also shampoo, razors, scented candles, lotion, etc - all freebies I've been collecting, but I know they will love it all.

New at this, just started I bought 20 packs of Chinet paper plates using the 2.00 coupon, for 29 cents each. Not sure how long they will last. Got them on sale at Fareway. Walmart has them for 2.59, wondering if I should get more?

I have only been couponing since late in june, but I think yesterday was my limit, LOl..I overtrade on glad sprays, we do use alot, I like the house to smellnice, and with teenage boys, and 5 cats, including one with digestive problems, I spray alot, LOl..so anyway, as I was going and getting about 10 every couple days, trying to use them all before expired today, I put all away last night, ...I now have 2 storage containers under my bed FULL of glad apple cinnamon sprays...all 100 cans, LOL..I used all but 2 of my B1G1 coupons, they had no more spray yesterday, so left the 2 for soemone to use there, and still let the 15 expire that were 75 cents off, LOl...I thought I went overboard on the albies free ice cream...breyers, where it printed the cats...kept going back,,it was FREE..so gave some away, stocked freezer, donated to foodbank, ..etc..but the glad spray is worse, LOl...at least we won't need to buy it for a LONNNNNNg time.

I bought a ton of the Orajel kids toothpaste early on in the year for pretty cheap--I think maybe 10 or 12 tubes. We are already down to three! Yikes!

Does this work with teddy grahams too? They seem to go stale really fast for us.

Someone mentioned tissues--that is another one for us too. With our allergies I underestimated tissue usage. I think at one point I had about 20-25 boxes and then was going through 4 boxes a week when allergies hit.

For me it was the Chinet paper plates also. I had a ton. Used every coupon I had. When I put them away, they were floor to ceiling. I had to get my husband to get them every time I needed paper plates. Well, sad to say, I opened my last pack of plates this morning. I guess that means, I'll be back to washing dishes until another fabulous coupon comes out. Bummer.
