| Re: What did you think you went overboard on, but... I'd have to say Orville Redenbacher popcorn for free year before last. I had just started to use coupons and didn't know much about serious stockpiling, so I got 25-30 boxes thinking the sale would come around again. Well, it has been on sale again, but not at that price and not with the same value coupon, so I've resorted to paying for popcorn.

| Re: What did you think you went overboard on, but... Um, 25 boxes of hot dogs that I was paid to take? Yep, less than 2 months have passed, and they are GONE.
Free cat litter?? I bought almost 200 lbs, but that didn't last nearly as long has I had imagined (hoped?). I haven't seen a sale to get them free for more than 2 years.

| Re: What did you think you went overboard on, but... Well I am fairly new to stock piling and so I have made numerous errors in thinking that I got a lot of something just to find out that it was a one time shot at getting it free/super cheap.
My biggest current regret is toilet paper. I bought a ton of it last April from Albies when it was 10/10 and there was a $1 Q, making it free. We had to stack it all over the garage - and my DH thought I was crazy everytime I brought home 10 more packages. Now it is a year later and we only have about 20 packages left. Albies no longer runs the Scott 10/10 deal - it is now a generic TP with no Qs. Plus the Albies in our neighborhood went out of business.
I have also underestimated our consumption of peanut butter, mustard, cereal, and BBQ sauce/marinade.
I am getting better though!
