I wish i could do something like that but i resently lost my job and my husband is disabled. After bills we only have about 150.00 to do our shopping and then we receive 300.00 in foodstamps. We are a very low income family. We have a 18 month old little boy. So needless to say I have to bargain shop, coupon, and we shop at Walmart for the ad matching deal. Though we only barely make it through the month. oh if only. I love your stock pile congradulations.

The thing is, you CAN do that. It's not an overnight thing. We are a single income family so we don't have a ton of money to spend on our purchases either. You could maximize the food stamps by using coupons etc. The biggest expense are the meats. If we don't have the money, I simply don't buy it.
