Excellent...can you explain how paper towels damage the environment? I thought they broke down? Or is it the use of trees to make them? But then, where I live we have an abundance of trees...

Well, I will try to answer this. Don't use paper towels when you can use an old rag. It is best to try to limit you use of paper towels, potty paper etc.. as much as possible. So if you can use a kitchen towel, wash cloth or rag, go for that first. Save the paper towels for food or other areas where you can't use the above. It is just being green and nice to our environment.

I do this. I absolutely still use paper towels, but if there is a chance to use a wash cloth instead, I do. Bacon in the microwave is paper towels. Wiping up from it is a wash cloth. It is just what I do. HTH's

I was cleaning out to donate to a local food drive plus to make room for my RA tp.

I rarely post stockpile pix. Several years ago, on another board, I posted pix once. There had been a recent diaper/wipes deal that I had just participated in, and a bunch of people called me greedy & stuff. Not that I really cared what some nameless people thought of me, but you know...

Then another time, I posted pix (again, a diff board) and some moms jumped all over me for how many paper towels I had & the damage I was doing to the environment with all those paper towels.

So I'm leery of posting, but here goes....

This is just my basement stockpile, and does not include my wall of paper towels, lol. I have tons of diapers/wipes/pullups in boys' closets. And both my bathroom vanities, under my kit sink, pantry...all packed with stuff.

i hate how some people judge, I just (finally) posted my stockpile pics on here today, with a large amount of the formula that is free/cheap at walmart, hoping people don't jump on me because of it, the amount or that I am partially ff, but believe me, as I said in another thread on here, if I didn't have to to use formula I wouldn't, I have cried many times because I cannot fully breastfeed, I don't like how people judge others without knowing the full story...

Thanks for posting, I had no clue that you could freeze Bisquick I'm going to start doing that :)
