First the cost of the shelves adds to the price savings of some many products, next - even at the significant savings you obviously bought all this at - have you ever added up all the money here on your shelves, closets, fridges and freezers. Looking at what you have, if you would have invested at least 2/3 of this money in something at 3%, you would be way ahead of saving money. Buying at bargain pricing is great as long as you don't have some much money tied up in it that the money isn't working someplace else. I don't mean to offend, but I'm just thinking of my own bottom line.
I've only been couponing for a month, but I think I have a knack for it, because I've already built up quite a decent stockpile on groceries for practically nothing. I mean... your not really spending anymore then you usually spend, your just getting a WHOLE lot more. With my family of 6, plus 2 nieces most times, I used to spend at least 150 dollars a week in food. I have now pulled that amount down to $50 dollars and have way more food then we've ever had in the house, my storage shed has already had tools moved out of the way for my pasta, crackers, bbq sauce and diapers. Plus my kids are loving it, because we always used to eat cheap for snacks and lunch, cheap crackers, peanut butter sandwiches, ramen noodles, fruit from the farmers market, and leftovers pretty much, and now they get granola bars, good crackers, cheeses, ice creams, and just about everything else I never used to buy because it wasn't in our grocery budget. Our meals have gotten way more creative, and I've been able to try out a lot of new (sometimes expensive) things that I never would have tried before. And as for walgreens, cvs, and all the HBA things, there is no reason for me to buy it anymore unless it's free or lower then 25 cents. I have enough tampons, toilet paper, contact solution, razors, soaps, lotions, and most other things to last our family at least 6 months on most of it. Some(razors) a year or more, so if I'm getting all that for 50 bucks a week, and saving 100 dollars (that goes in my account) i would say I'm saving a ton of money!
Oh and btw irishsaver, love your stockpile, and can't wait till I've got one just as large! :)

I would like to thanks all of your for you nice comments. To answer a few questions mentioned above.

Yes I am still using my stockpile but it has dwindled down quite a lot. Not as many sales going on in my local ACME so no cheap or free paper towel et have to pay for it now hence the stock up but I did get a stash of dishwasher detergent at Riteaid etc so I am set for a while. My cereal stash is getting very low I had to pay $1.50 a box last night which is unheard of but summer coming and I know my kids are always eating cereal as they get a little lazy to make something sometime. Never have enough peanut butter in my house

But all in all I have quite a bit I have been rotating... I also do a lot of shopping in my local Aldi which I love.

I will be out of a job in a few weeks so this will be a godsend to have my stockpile to fall back on. .. Thanks again for your positive comments I really appreciate it..

And yes I am due new pictures indeed when I am off work I will definately put some up.

I wish i could do something like that but i resently lost my job and my husband is disabled. After bills we only have about 150.00 to do our shopping and then we receive 300.00 in foodstamps. We are a very low income family. We have a 18 month old little boy. So needless to say I have to bargain shop, coupon, and we shop at Walmart for the ad matching deal. Though we only barely make it through the month. oh if only. I love your stock pile congradulations.
