Default morneau_grl27's stockpile (just starting out!)

I have been couponing for almost 3 years but I have never really stockpiled until this year. With the bad economy and hubby wanting to buy his uncles' farm, I have made it my mission to start a great stockpile and have enough to last at least a year in case we fall on hard times when we move.

Stores I shop at: Target, Walmart, Walgreens, Cub Foods, KMart, Cashwise
None of my stores double (with the exception of KMart once in a decade) so I have to find deals the best I can with catalina deals and trading for higher value coupons. I am also just starting to get into rebating, so hopefully that will save me tons more!

My Purex deal at KMart: 4 for $10 ($10.70 with tax)
had: 4 X $.35 off coupons
and a $5 Gift card

Total for 4 bottles: $4.30!

Kellogg's Cereal and Poptarts on Sale at Cub Foods for $2.50 a box.
had: 15 X $1.00 off coupons
2 X Cub Coupon for $5 off the purchase of 5

Total for 15: $12.50
I also have a $10 Mail in Rebate for these, so my total after that will be $2.50 for 15 boxes!

Jumping Beans outfits from Kohl's. On sale for $6 each.
Had: 2 X $5 off a purchase at Kohl's

$1 each for a brand new outfit!

Bought:
4 Suave shampoos/conditioners: $1.50 a piece
4 Suave body washes: $2.00 a piece

Could you please share the deals you got at walgreens? What were the prices and coupons used? That would be greatly appreciated. Then I can see if I have the right coupons before going to the store.

Thanks so much,
Tammy

From last week's shopping at Walgreens, I used .75 off 1 Suave deodorant and RRs from the previous week to get the shampoo and toothbrushes cheaper oop. I am very new to Walgreens, I just started shopping there two weeks ago! I did the free Tylenol deal two weeks ago to get the $3 cats and the free pens for $1 cats. I used those on the toothbrushes and shampoos. This week I plan to do a few deals (Glade Flameless candle with $5 qs, Reach toothbrushes with BOGO and $1 qs, Colgate toothpaste with .75 qs which will all produce RRs back). I would suggest reading the Walgreens threads as they've helped me ALOT!

Thanks for the quick response. So are the suave and vaseline deals over? I've been rolling the Reach RRs with Band aid rrs...using tuff paper towels as a filler.

The Vaseline I got at Cub Foods as part of the buy $30, get $15 back deal. But yes, both are over from what I know.

And, yes, it feels great to contribute! Being a stay at home mom, I feel this is my way of contributing to the budget!

Cub Foods had them on sale for $2.50 and if you spent $30 you got $15 back in catalinas. So the Vaseline was technically $1.25 after the cats, and I had $1.50 qs from the 8/2 insert, so free with overage!
