And what are your primary stores? Kroger, Walgreens, CVS, Target, K-Mart? Where do you go?? Thanks! |

| Re: SkyeCaitlin88's Stockpile Pictures UPDATED Do you have a regular routine- like certain stores you visit on certain days? I travel primarily between Publix & Target. However, I'll take an ocassional (every other week or so) to Wal-Mart, Rite Aid, CVS, Walgreens, etc.- depending on the deal and the coupons I have. Apparently you are just hardcore with this couponing!
Do you live in a major city? I just can't imagine being able to successfully dumpster dive. I don't even know where the closest recycling location would be. No offense to anyone- north or south, but where I am, here in my part of Alabama, recycling doesn't seem important- they don't pick it up at your door, or advertise where to drop it off. I remember a monthly pick-up growing up in New York... How would I find such a thing? I mean, what do you google? I'm not big in the community, we're kinda homebodies... I already have my FIL, Father, and Mother save & send me their coupons every 2-3 weeks. Ocassionally we'll get the newspaper too. I just don't want to set up the expense of getting the paper delivered weekly (really need to, though!) because I don't have a lot of stores close to me that can make it worth my while. I have only 1 grocery store that doubles up to $0.50 (Publix) and my local K-Marts are NEVER participating in doubles (last time was December 2008- and I hit it hard!). I just find it so hard to make the most of couponing and stockpiling where I am located! Thanks for any support or suggestions you might have- always looking for a mentor! |

Do you live in a major city?I do not! I live about 20 miles from philly! I can't imagine being able to successfully dumpster dive. I don't even know where the closest recycling location would be. Schools.. Fire companies... laundry mats on monday mornings! No offense to anyone- north or south, but where I am, here in my part of Alabama, recycling doesn't seem important- they don't pick it up at your door, or advertise where to drop it off. I lived in MO, and NEVER recycled growing up.. I dont think there WAS anywhere to recycle.. We did burn tho! I remember a monthly pick-up growing up in New York... How would I find such a thing? Ocassionally we'll get the newspaper too. I just don't want to set up the expense of getting the paper delivered weekly (really need to, though!) I pay 18 dollars for 13 weeks! and i get sunday coupons on saturday!! because I don't have a lot of stores close to me that can make it worth my while. I have only 1 grocery store that doubles up to $0.50 (Publix) and my local K-Marts are NEVER participating in doubles (last time was December 2008- and I hit it hard!). Thanks for any support or suggestions you might have- always looking for a mentor! | I dont know what real advise to give you because you dont have any of the stores I do:sad: My Kmart always doubles, (theres 3 with in 15 minutes of me) and all my grocery stores double up to 99 cents! I therefore, would be a horrible mentor to you i can honestly tell you that all these pictures took work. LOTS and LOTS of work, PLUS I did all this with 5 kids!!! Id have to say I devote about 30 hours a week to the gathering, sorting, clipping, trading, etc of couponing!!! |

| Re: SkyeCaitlin88's Stockpile Pictures UPDATED Specifically, I'm looking for deals and steald for stockpiling baby goods- wipes (how did you get such a stockpile on those?! I've read somewhere that you can use the 'huggies bath product' Q for wipes? True?), diapers, formula, jarred foods, etc. Beyond that, I typically just have 1-2 extras on hand at a time, and that works for us. However, baby goods, as we all know- especially you, with 5 kids, are soo ridiculously expensive! I really need to find some deals on that stuff. We recently moved into a bigger house because we were very comfortable in our financial standings, then I got a pay cut, then we found out that 'SURPRISE!' we are pregnant. I don't have room in my grocery budget to add much baby expense... I appreciate any baby supply stockpiling suggestions you have between chain pharmacies (Rite Aid, Walgreens, CVS, etc.), Wal-Mart or Target (only stores we have in common) would be super! Thank You!!! |

Thank You!!! | Maybe I can help just a little on the baby stockpiling!! Sign up for every baby club in the world, and when you're done...sign up your husband...and your mom....and your sister in law. Beechnut, Gerber, Huggies, Pampers, Publix Baby Club, Toy r us B-day club. RiteAid almost always has something going on with Huggies, Walgreens has frequent BOGO's on their brand of diapers (which are pretty decent) CVS will do Huggies deals. Target often sends out home-mailer Q's that you can stack with MF and Publix will always get you something great from their home-mailer Q's that you can stack also with MF Q's. If you have a Kroger nearby, get on shortcuts and cellfire. they have Q's that load onto your card you can also use a paper Q with.
HTH's just a little!!
