i now have stockpile envy, tyvm, LOL! i can't wait (but i'm gonna have to) until i have stockpiles even remotely close to what you guys have... i've only been at this for 2 weeks now, but already i'm noticing a difference. my stockpiles are quite pitiful looking, but i'm proud :) most of what i have stockpiled right now is bathroom items. it's hard to concentrate just on ONE thing when there's so many good deals around here. to make it even harder is the fact that i don't have a lot of places to put my "extras".

the shampoos mostly came from sally's B1G1F sale they're having this month

tp... and more hiding in the kids' bathroom...


my free samples and trial sizes that me and dd like to get from various places ...


my cheap-o blank dvd's.. we go thru a lot of these coz i copy movies to save us movie fans some money....


10/$10 jellos i picked up yesterday at fry's... nm the fact we've already been thru last week's 10/$10!

Very nice mini stockpile, before you know it your stockpile will be taking over the house! It takes time, but you are on your way.

i relented to DH's begging finally and gave him some of the money we saved over the past month ~ he bought a treadmill and a telescope that he just HAD to have from a guy at work. i actually started using the treadmill myself this past week, so i guess it was ok, LOL he only paid $100 for both :) not a bad deal!



i've only been stockpiling since the last week of september along with "serious" couponing, so i'm pretty proud of what we have stockpiled now! DH has gotten over my obsession and rolls his eyes at me nowadays (instead of playing 20 questions on why we need so much stuff laying around, lol).

i really wish we had a deep freezer though (although i don't know where i'd put one now that we have that treadmill, lol) i may go shopping for one anyhow after we get the tax check. that freezer of ours doesn't hold near the amount i'd like it too. there's like NO room for anything in there! i'll be picking up more of those tubs for my bedroom closet next week too so i can consolidate even more.

lol! i hear a different excuse every week as to why he HAS to spend money...

"oh look, you quit smoking so now i can buy the name brand chewing tobacco."
"oh look, you saved us $200 on the groceries this week, let me go buy twice as many lotto tickets this weekend AND name brand chewing tobacco AND a treadmill AND a telescope... and let's not forget that $70 racquetball racket i've been wanting because somebody at work has it and i have racket-envy."
