CHEF What are you doing with all of your Farmland sausage?

I made some great stuffed mushrooms on New Year's Eve and they were a hit!

    It was quick and easy!

Cook sausage and make stove top dressing then combine.
Core mushrooms and stuff with sausage and dressing mixture.
Top with shredded cheese and bake for about 15 minutes or until mushrooms are ready.

Modify to your satisfy your tastebuds.

OHHHH I think my husband would LOVE that!!! I have 10 rolls and have only made meatballs with one roll

    Meatballs:
saute 3 cloves of garlic minced... and 1/2 onion cut fine
    once sauteed combine with
    1 roll of sausage
    1/2cup of bread crumbs
    1/4 cup of parmesan cheese
    1 egg
    Mix all together
roll into 1-1 1/2 inch balls
cook on the stove top until done!
They turned out fantastic! I was surprised because I was winging it... never made them and had no recipe! I served them on top of the spaghetti sauce!

I make stuffed mushrooms like this, they are really yummy!

Pkg of large mushroom caps (washed and stem taken out if any)
    1 pkg of Cream Cheese
    1 roll of sausage

Cook saugsage till done, drain and then add to softend cream cheese and mix up. Add a teaspoon full of mixture and fill mushroom caps. Put in oven at 400 degrees for about 5 mins, check to see if bubbly. If so they are done, take them out and enjoy!

My son won't eat the mushrooms but he is always asking for the sausage mixture! LOL!

FYI-- for those who don't like mushrooms, try sausage squares!

I think I got the recipe here somewhere, so you can search for it if you want... but basically, it's the same "filling" mixture, except you unroll a can of crescent rolls (just the regular size ones, not jumbo), lay them in the bottom of a 9x13 in. pan, spread the cream cheese/sausage mixture on top of that, then top with another unrolled can of crescent rolls. Bake it like you would for crescent rolls by themselves, except it will take close to double the time to bake, as you want the top to be very golden brown so the bottom will get done enough to not be soggy.

I made these for dinner for me and a friend, and they were soo good that we had a hard time not eating them all at once! LOL
