Recipe: Peanut Butter Cups Use up your XL Hershey bars or clearance chocolate to make these Reese knock offs. Yummy!! Peanut butter filling:
1/2 c peanut butter
2 T butter
1/2 c powdered sugar
Melt peanut butter and butter in microwave 30 seconds. Add in powdered sugar and mix well. Set aside. Chocolate:
1 XL Hershey bar finely chopped
(or 1/2 bag milk choc chips, 1 cup chopped holiday clearance chocolate, etc.)
2TB butter
Melt chocolate and butter in microwave 30 seconds. Stir and microwave another 30 seconds. Repeat until chocolate is completely melted. Times vary by microwave.
Line mini muffin pan with paper liners. Drop in small spoonful of chocolate and let cool about 5 minutes. Add about a teaspoon of the peanut butter mixture and then cover in chocolate. Chill.
