Anyone knows how to get $15 in Staples Rewards with Recycled cartridges?

Staples has this offer in like every of their fliers.
I bought HP ink cartridge 2 weeks ago and it is not showing up in my Rewards. I called customer service and the CS told me that i did not get it because i used (3)$3 Staples coupons. Yet, the flier ad says you get the rewards when you purchase and recycle.
How the heck does this work?
I am clueless, the store employees are clueless and CS is clueless.
I sincerelly hope someone can answer, because it could be a great deal.

The coupon should not affect that. I just bought a laser printer cartridge today and returned two used ones. The cashier took two $3 coupons and used them right away, plus I had a $10 off ink plus I will get the reward. I hope it will sho up... are you sure it was a qualifying product?

Yes. It was HP cartridge and it cost $29.99 before tax.
My Staples would not take $10 off coupons in conjunction with Recycled cartridge coupons.
LMK if you get the $15 in rewards.

Ok so my statement arrived. No $15 reward. I called CS and told them what they advertised and date of purchase, etc. and the lady apologized and adjusted the reward. HTH

There are two different ink recycling programs to take advantage of.
1. recycle your used ORIGINAL hp, dell, lexmark ink and recieve $3 back on your rewards check; up to 3 returns per day.
2. recycle an off-brand HP ink cartridge (office-max, office depot, any refilled ink) and purchase at least $35 in original HP ink from Staples and recieve $15 towards your rewards card; up to 2 returns per day.

I work at Staples and a customer asked me about this, I had absolutely no idea this program was around nor had a way to find find the sku for the Rewards rebate. I did a ton of digging for this one, 725136. If you recycle your Off-Brand ink, tell your cashier to ring up this sku ^^.
