What are the changes in reedeming used ink cartridges?

Thank you. Your update has good details. Are you sure that Office Depot takes 25 per day?? My DH would be THRILLED to hear that he can get a $75 per day credit to spend there since he's looking to get something for his home office.

They will exchange 25 per day and give you the coupons for them. You can only use 3 per day. Hope this helps.

I would assume the vouchers should be sent out pretty soon.

If you get the balance back in a gift card, that's pretty good. In fact, that's probably better. Those vouchers are only good for a couple of months. I would think the gift cards would be good for at least a year.

I just called Staples Rewards at 1-800-793-3320 and here's what I was told...

1. Everything I posted a few posts back is accurate, according to the Rewards Manager.
2. Ink Carts will be credited to your rewards card, at a limit of three per day.
3. If you submit three per day for ten days, you should expect a rewards check for $30.00 to use on store merchandise. Three per day for 20 days, a reward check for $60.00. etc.
4. All of the totals are calculated quarterly, so the

• first quarter ended on March 31st, to be mailed by middle of April.
• second quarter ends on June 30th, to be mailed by middle of July.
• third quarter ends on September 30th, to be mailed by middle of October.
• fourth quarter ends on December 31st, to be mailed by middle of January 2009.

5. When asked how I will have proof of actual ink carts taken into the store, I was told that a receipt would be given for each transaction.

My husband is checking the math with me on this... and an 8 year old who is often smarter than me... if you submit 3 ink cart per day, don't they credit your account $3 each for a total of $9 for that day? So at the end of 10 days you should have a total credit of $90? This just reconfirms my opinion that schools need to get basics of reading/writing/'rithmatic. How else are kids these days suppose to figure out all these new rewards programs, deals, rebates, coupons.....the REAL WORLD stuff.

• Just took in my first ink carts for the new program and was given a receipt.
• I also went online to staples.com and entered the rewards section at https://www.staplesrewardscenter.com...gin/Login.aspx.
• I logged in with the customer number on the back of my rewards card, my last name, and my zip code.
• You can actually view the rewards as they accumulate. The page mentions when it's updated last. I took the ink carts into the store on 4-12 and the rewards page listed above was last updated on 4-9.
• I will check back in a few days to see if it's updated.

I've been taking in 3 a day off an on for the last few weeks now and earning $9.00 per day. According to my balance online, I have almost $100.00 in a rewards check as of now. Still need to wait and see what shows up on the actual rewards check, but so far everything looks good.

I have a box that I just throw the carts in when I'm done - I have 4 printers and use alot of ink :)
