ALERT : Check your Black Friday Battery Rewards
On Black Friday, I bought the Norton Interet 2012 (Free after $20 instant savings and Easy Rebate ), Brother P-Touch ( $9.99 after $30 instant savings ), and 2 packs of the qualifying Duracell batteries ( Free after Rewards ). I know that If I used Rewards to pay, I would not get back the Rewards on the batteries, so I paid cash for the entire transaction.
.
Checked my Rewards account on line today, and I noticed that I was not going to get back full rewards for the batteries because the system showed that I had used a $10.30 Rewards coupon to pay for part of the transaction !! I double checked my reciept to make sure that nothing strange was on there, and all seemed normal. Like I said I had paid cash to avoid this problem.
.
Called the rewards center, and they figured that the computer picked up the Instant savings on the Norton and the P-Touch as a Rewards coupon. They are mailing me an $11.00 rewards check to rectify the problem.
.
I don't know if this could have happened with any other items, that is all I bought. Check your account on line so you know if this has happened to you as well.
