staples rewards question

I looked through the FAQ but didn't see an answer to my question. How does staples rewards work? more specifically, were do the rewards go that you earn and how do you spend them?

In a nutshell, you sign up for a FREE rewards card, you get a certain percentage of your purchase price back in rewards when you buy select items and $2 per empty ink cartridge that you recycle at Staples (up to 10 per month). Rewards are issued monthly in the form of a printable check (obtained online) that you can use like cash on anything you want in the store.

oh awesome!! i don't shop a lot there but every little bit helps. I wish they would just send to paypal so I can use to get coupons. lol

new to the staples rewards as well so my question is do they expire?? if so how long from when the reward beguns available to me, do i have before it would expire??

Yes, they do expire--about 2 months after issue.

For example, the rewards I earned during the period of 06/01/11-06/30/11 were issued to me on 07/23/2011 and expire on 09/30/11.

No they do not. They can be used on online and by phone orders as well. I always combine my rewards with a coupon off eBay to stretch them further.
