I'm wondering if they consider a "week" as in when the new ad comes out or per 7 day period. I bought 1 on black Friday (when I burned up my big rewards check from the free backpack over the summer), and then I bought 2 online today when I ordered the Norton 360 that is $9.99 after rewards discount and rebate (which is also a GREAT deal). I am hoping they all count even though I bought them 2 days apart but in seperate weekly ads. I will at least get the value of 2 of them so still a great deal.

I just got two packs of 20 pk duracell batteries and really needed the Norton Utilities with all those sites I go on... Great deal.

I had DH Rewards program check $68.00 from the summer and bumped it up to $100. and used a competitor coupons which my store always takes... Threw in a Wilton candy house and 45 candy cane box with jellies and my oops was $10.xx DS & DD very happy....

google competitior for a coupon maybe your store will let you use it too I dont want to post as last time it was not allowed :sad:

If you need batteries, Home Depot has 60 Rayovac Batteries (AA or AAA) for $9.99.

The way I do Staples is I use my "Reward" checks to buy either things that are free after rebate or free after rewards and get my money back again, or buy things on tremendous sale that I need anyway. It ends up being a GREAT deal for me.

On Black Friday I used my $39.xx reward check from the free name brand backpack to buy a 20 pack batteries (that I will get my money back in rewards), a calculator free after rebate, a 50 pack of Photo paper that was $1 after rebate, and I treated myself to an 8GB flash drive that was something like $12.99 and more than $20 off the regular price and cheaper than other stores had advertised for the same size. I paid $1.24 and got things I needed or would get me my money back.

I might do this if they would ever send me my backpack reward.:hectic1: I finally called them last week and they "didn't know" why I didn't get a reward check (never said that it was mailed out and never said why it wasn't - couldn't get any information out of them). They did say it would be mailed out right away - we'll see.:sad:

I feel your frustration as that also happened to me with DD backpack. I have to wait for 12/31 for the next quarter of checks as I was never put in the system. At least you will have it soon..

I like this reward deal but if you dont have any extra money it is a little harder to buy. I only bought the expensive back pack for my DS almost $68.xx as I knew I was getting it back..
