Staples rewards

I don't know if this has been covered or not but I couldn't find anything on it.

We went to staples and my mom and I both got backpacks for my kids. She told me when her rebate comes in that I can buy it off her since she doesn't shop at staples. Can I use her rewards with my card or do I have to have her card too? (I know like with CVS the ecb are card specific)

I'm not sure I understand what you mean by "Can I use her rewards with my card or do I have to have her card too?" But, I asked an employee on Sunday if the rewards were something that had to be used in the store or was it a check and I was informed rewards are a check. I am not sure if the checks are card specific, but probably will have your mom's name on her check and your name on your check (or whatever name is associated with the reward card). She can cash it and give you the money if she likes.

You will need her card to use her rewards.

I was told today it was a rewards check to be used specifically in the store.

I have gotten rewards before so I know what they are. They are checks to be used at Staples. I was just asking because she doesn't shop there and I do. The only reason I asked was cause she said I can give her the cash for it, so either I have to borrow her card too or I have to bring her in with me to use it.
