Now on the side of the ad it says $5 of $20 instore coupon, see front for exclusions, but there was no coupopn. I finally showed the manger how to pull up his ad on the Staples website (I swear he did NOT know how to do it) and there was the coupon on the ad. So he wrote the coupon code on my ad and thought he was through with the one crazy lady. Oh No! By the time I got back up to the register there were three other ladies and another man about to riot over no coupon. So the manager called corporate and they said just to use the coupon code off the website for everyone. So I got my stuff, made $11 after rebate, and we all lived happy ever after

Moral of the story, if you have not been yet, do a screen print of the ad showing the coupon and take it with you.

If you go to Staples.com and look up the ad, when you hover over the picture of the coupon and click it, you'll get a window telling you how to print it and take it to the store. It prints the whole front page of the ad on one sheet, not just the coupon, but if they're website says it's OK, then the store mgrs shouldn't give us any problems. Sorry they were such idiots to you. What did you use to get $11 MM?

No, MnM"s Mama, someone else posted them. I'm not that good at making up deals yet! If there were 3 deals that each used a coupon that could be a problem because I think it says one per person.

Some people are saying they got the coupon on the Staples ad in thier newspaper. I did not get a Staples ad in any of the 8 St Pete papers I went and bought OR in my one Tampa Trib delivered to my home. No one was coming in with them either. Maybe in more affluent areas. But not us.
Anyway i was able to do my deal, used my Staples Reward certificate from turning in ink cartriges and will get the rebates.

Free paper, it's a beautiful thing.

Scenario Idea #1:

Buy 2 Photo Plus Paper: $9.99 x 2
Buy 2 8-packs of pencils: $0.01 x 2
Use the $5/20 coupon on the front of the ad from today newspaper
OOP: $15 plus tax
Get $17.98 in MIR
MM: $2.98

Scenario Idea #2:
Buy 1 package Photo Plus Paper:$9.99
Buy 2 packages Copy Paper: $3.69 x 2
Buy 2 packages Bic Fashion Pens: $1 x 2
Buy 1 Bic White Out: $1
Use the $5/20 coupon on the front of ad from today's paper
Use 2 $1/1 Q's for Bic pens from coupons.com
Use $0.50/1 Q's for Bic White Out from coupons.com
OOP: $11.87 plus tax
Get $16.37 MIR
MM: $4.50

Maybe it's because the $5/$20 coupon states that you can't combine with any other coupon.....#1 would be okay, but #2 would not.

Should have read pp before going. My ad doesn't have the q either. Have to come home to print it from my email. And it's so small one can hardly see the numbers under the bar code. Well I'd give it another try tomorrow.

I took the print out from computer as I got 3 papers and no staples in any of them.. Manager said no problem to use print out. The cashier was only going to let me use it once but I told her DD was with me and if she liked I can come back in again she said no thats ok and rang up my 3rd transaction..

Didnt do the .1 c paper deal as DH gets me tons all the year round... Just wanted to stock up on some school supplies before september. Anyone know when the big .01 c sale starts..???

Thanks for the heads up on the .01 cent deals.
