staples rewards & doller coupon

anyone tried the $ off $ coupon with staples rewards
does that make the amount lower so it should be the amount after the staples reward to allow the doller coupon work

I purchased the Nikon Coolpix camera for $149.99
+ 1 box of crayons for $1
sub: $150.99
less a $30/$150 coupon
sub $120.99
less a staples reward coupon of $30
sub $90.99
+ 7% sales tax 6.37
total $97.36
+ getting back $75 rewards check for camera

it also looks like the coupon and the rewards check reduces the taxable amount where I live. Tax precoupon would've been $10.57. Tax after coupon & rewards check was $6.37.

Because the Staples Rewards is a store coupon it comes off pretax. That will lower your taxable amount. :)

I signed up for their rewards program and they seem to be emailing me one about every 3 weeks. They are 1 time use only.

i haven't gotten any $X/XX coupons from them in quite some time, maybe i need to redo my account or something
