Wow - 25 bottles! That is wonderful! I do not have a rewards card and I was able to get 2 free bottles of Elmer's glue. It was in their ad this week.
I was picking up an ink cartridge yesterday. I used my Staples Rewards card (a teacher rewards card). The guy behind the counter asked why I wasn't getting my free glue. He told me that there was free glue in the back to school bins. I went over to the bin and noticed it the sign said free when you use your card limit 2. I grabbed 2 and headed back in line. He told me since I was a teacher I was allowed 25 free glues!! I went back and grabbed my 25 glue bottles. It rang up as 0.00! My friend went and tried it at a different local branch and she also got 25 bottles. I believe the 2 free glues are for anyone that has a rewards card.

This week teachers get 25 of each of the following items:
pencil eraser toppers
individual plastic pencil sharpeners
2 pocket duotang folders
I have a question that I hope someone can help me with. I'm a preschool teacher--do you think I would still qualify for these deals? We'd definitely use the glue, folders, etc. in our preschool classrooms. I don't have any business cards or such though, to show them to "prove" I'm a preschool teacher. Thanks in advance for any help you can give me!
I wonder if a homeschooler mom is able to get this. They are a teacher. Can they apply for the teachers card or just a public school teacher? We have alot of homeschool moms here.
I'd appreciate your prayers during a very hard transition in my life. TYVVM
I think you need a teachers ID. The 2 free are for regular customers.
At my store I use my Teacher's Reward card every time I shop and that is enough to get the 25 if I want them.
I applied for the card online a couple of years ago.

I did have to show school id to get a Teacher Rewards Card. Perhaps they would let you get a card if you have a pay stub from your paycheck?
I looked up the ad (preview) last week for my zip code and saw the free erasers, sharpners and folders on the front page. I went to my Staples yesterday and asked and was told they didn't have a sale this week. I told them I saw it on their web page under my zip code so they looked it up and now it's a totally different front page without the free stuff. They also said they didn't get the sales flyer when I asked to look at one, but then they went into the back room and found some - that matched the new front page. How weird is that? I am absolutely positive I typed in the local zip code and it had the free stuff on it, that was on Friday.
