ETA: Yes, you can do both offers. I just got off the phone with her. She said the Staples is a deal they are running. She took my name and address to have "proof" that this would go through.

ETA 2: Some are other sites are saying you won't get this for free. Order on your own. Please don't hold me resposible if you don't get both rebates. Which, some of us have called and e-mailed and told yes you can get both. E-mail to confirm you can. That way you have proof.

So yes. All 3 printers are free after rebates + tax!

I hope it goes through. But, if not, please don't hold me resposible. Use your own judgement. And be willing to "loose" that money if it doesn't work.

Looks to me like the easy saver rebate is the HP rebate only on-line through Staples. "This offer may NOT be combined with any other HP national offers unless specified by other programs." I hope I'm wrong b/c I would love a free printer.

I don't see why not this is a Staples offer. They do that for alot of their stuff. It is like doing a Walgreens rebate (online) then using the reciept for a mail in rebate. Or a coupon on a TMF item (like Pert Plus). At least that is the way I see it.

Looks like products purchased from Staples do qualify for the HP Rebate. Also, it doesn't require the original receipt (a copy is okay) BUT does require the original UPC/Barcode from the printer's box.

What's involved with the Staples Easy Rebate??? Never done one before. Does it require the original UPC/Barcode too??? TIA

Looks to me like you dont need the orig UPC from the box if you submit online with Staples. If anyone finds a $x/xx please post. I would love a free printer too. but even with the tax it will still cost me $36.00 + a stamp.

I'm not sure about trying this. I love the idea, but I have to come up with a spare $400 while I wait for the rebates, and there's a chance that I'll end up being out $200. And since I mail in the UPC, it's not as if I can take it back to the store if it turns out that I can't get the rebate. That being said, I'm still mighty tempted.

You could write them about it. Or call them if you can find the number. I highly doubt you wiould be outed the $200.

Oh and Staples rebates are easy. You go to www.stapleseasyrebates.com type in your receipt number. Your done. If you order online it is even easier. Type in just the order number (I think). Nevertheless, when you order online you just type in 1 number. It fills in what rebate you are going for in the list. You get your check in about 1 month from filing.

The verbage on the 2 rebates looks the same to me. On the HP rebate it talks about electronic submission may be done at an authorized HP retailer. I'm thinking that Staples is doing the HP rebate in the form of an easy rebate. If someone calls or writes and gets a concrete answer please let us know. I would love a laser printer.
