1 Cent Sale Begins Sunday July 6~~

the sale says per customer for most the items and the hand sanitizer says per household so there is a difference. Each member of your family can go through the line to purchase the one cent items if it is per customer. With the hand sanitizer(I think it is the sanitizer) it says per household so you are limited there.

Anyone have an ad for next week? They had them at my store but the manager refused to give me one. It must have been when I complained she overcharged me 40 cents on my 1.21 bill.

My ad said one offer per customer for the sanitizer. My kids and I went through multiple times (different days) without a problem.

Does anyone know if next week's penny sale starts on Sunday again? The cashier I had yesterday said she didn't know what was on sale for next week, but that she had heard the sale wasn't starting on Sunday??

My Staple's almost gave me a problem yesterday. I went in with my three kids and grabbed 8 sanitizers and 8 packages of pencils. In the past, a cashier allowed me to make one transaction with all the items. So I asked this cashier if she could do one transaction for all the items or if she would need to do 4 separate transactions. She politely said "We're not supposed to allow children to do their own transactions. These limits are per household. I'll do it this time, though, since it's the last day."

Hopefully in the upcoming weeks we'll try a different store or I'll have my children stand in their own line.

I went Sunday and hubby and I both paid for the 1 cent items and got 2 of each, Monday dd( 10) and I went back and there were different people working and we both got 2 each of the 1 cent items( oh yes and 10 of the folders too).. and last night hubby and I did it again. Besides using it for my dd, we are sending down a few backpacks to my husband's family in Honduras.. there a classroom shares 3-5 pencils. So this will come in handy. I am so desperate to see the new 1 cent ad, for next week, I am trying to plan around it.. I need pens, scissors, colored pencils, erasers and pencil boxes.. Walgreens is going to have a few of these things for good prices, but if they are 1cent, It will be great!! cheryl

I went in a couple times. I stopped on my way to work and on my way home. There were different people working so it worked out well. I also stopped in yesterday and had my daughter who is 7 buy her stuff and had no problems with her going through the line. Sometimes I think we get great cashiers and others are just plain crabby.

If I'm not mistaken (I don't have the add on me) it says per person not per household. I understand not allowing you to pay all items in one transaction but there nowhere says kids are not allow to make purchases, kids are people too :) The only item that was per house hold were the highlighters.
