    Default Is it worth it?

    Hi all!

I have three young kiddos. When I had my first almost 6 years ago I registered for Upromise. However, in that time I have only accumulated $1.02! Of course, it's never up to date as far as card numbers and such, and I also, before couponing, just bought store brands.

NOW that I coupon, can someone tell me how this works and if it's worth it?

    Thanks!!!

I personally think that it's worth it, but I do have the Upromise Credit Card and most of my earnings have come from using that. I only registered for it about 6 months ago and I've already earned $37 and change, so if you are able to, I really suggest getting the Upromise Card to maximize your earnings. I also just noticed about a week ago when I logged into my account, that you can add your debit card that's attached to your bank account to your Upromise account... I don't know if that's new or if I just missed that part when I signed up, but I'm hoping that will make the earnings go a little faster...

Other than that there's not alot of the Upromise qualified foods that we eat in my house, so it may or may not be "worth it" for you... there is a list somewhere on the upromise site or you may have to google it, I found it once before but don't remember where, I'll look for it for you

I agree with KLCglad. I also have the creidt card, which has a 0% APR until next April- after that, we probably won't be using it much. I have all of my store cards linked to it and every month, I add all of the coupons, most of which are items we never buy/use, just in case they are on sale or there is a paper coupon, or we may use it.

I also enrolled in their restaurant earning program too, which helps a lot since we try to only eat at those restaurants (and pair it with a coupon or discount). For the most part, it works pretty well.

We have earned over $150.00 in the past year.

is coupons worth it? yes they are but they are worth what you put into it...it takes time and useing them on every shopping trip to get good at it and really see the saveing start to add up.....if you are going to stockpile it will take awhile to really see the differance for you are buying more than you were before but soon you will see that you can get $300 for $60 and not even go shopping if you really dont want to or feel up to for you have stuff to make it threw that week already.

I think she was only asking if a Upromise account was worth it.
