2010 Holiday Gift Card Promotions

This thread will be dedicated to the gift card promotions that come out during the holiday season. Many places offer buy $x gift card, and get $x gift card/certificate back. Please make sure to take note, and include in your post, any limitations, for instance a lot of the 'gift card backs' can only be used at certain times.

I know it's a tad early in the season to start this thread, but some places are starting to offer them up already.

They don't have anything on their website, but restaurants in Knoxville, TN are offering a $15 certificate for buying a $50 gift card. I only caught it on a commercial the other night, so I'm not sure what limitations, if any, are involved or what restaurants were included. I know Parkside Grill, and Lakeside Tavern, but there was a third included.

Edit to Add: Parkside Grille has updated their facebook, though there still isn't anything on the their website. Facebook says: "Looking for the perfect Christmas gift? When you purchase a $50 gift card from Parkside Grill you receive $15 in gift certificates for you to use at any of our locations. Click on our website to see our locations."

Edit to add: LL Bean has clarified on their facebook page that you can purchase a $50 gift card and get a $10 promtional card back. You may not, however, earn the $10 promotional card when you pay with a gift card.

Olga's - Sounds like you can only do this online. There is also a shipping charge of $4.95. I guess if you buy $75-$100 worth, then the charge doesn't seem so bad.

I saw a sign at McDonalds today. Buy a $10 GC and get a free medium size McCafe coffee. It was an instant savings, not a coupon to be redeemed in the future.
