It is still $39.99 here in Syracuse, NY area. There is a current special for new customers for $29.99 a month for 12 months though.

Tell me more! I have Road Runner LITE but pay well over $9.99 here in WI. Are they advertising this anywhere?

Might tell them you can get it cheaper from another place and they MIGHT give you the sale price

I called and was told this is only available to customers who have a bundle package. (cable, road runner & ph) I only have roadrunner and pay $39 a month. They would not discount anything! ( no surprise here)

That's about what I pay also - I used to have the standard Road Runner (unsure what it is called...) and basic cable (about 13 channels) and paid over $50 a month (first year was $48.33, then they raised it to $58.80 and then $62.12 - all within about 3 months...). Needless to say, I cancelled the basic cable over 2 years ago and downgraded to RR Lite (but I don't notice any difference compared to standard! ) and was charged $20.94/month. After 1 year they raised it to $26.20/month.
