MyPoints and the Entertainment book

This was a similar issue with an Avon ad. The website said 5 pts per dollar spent...but the email clickthru said you would get so many points if you ordered a certain amount. So I did...through that link...2 times. Guess what...they only gave me 5 pts per dollar. I have contacted them several times...and I keep getting told the same thing...that I clicked the wrong link. I told them each time...that NO...I clicked the link in ad that said I would get the bonus points for spending a certain amount....that was over a month ago...still no bonus points. I also did the similiar ad for Magazines.com - extra points per subscription...been a month...never got those points either.

Is the Entertainment book worth it if its not for your area? I have never bought one and I live in a smallish town. Thanks in advance.

they gave me this excuse too..."you clicked and ordered from the click thru email" and i had to tell them that i did not...i went to the main website and searched the site i wanted and then did my order...which the way i did it is the way you are supose to do it...they then made up another reason why i didnt get the points...
i pretty much just stick with clicking the emails to get points.

I'm pretty fed up with MyPoints and the denial of points offers. Don't think that they will credit you the 750 points per dollar, even if you have verifiable proof of their mistake. They've been ignoring me for the past four months for a 2000+ point offer.

I bought the Entertainment book for Florida when we went to Disney World. We used some of the coupns there when we were outside to park. I also used the movie passes...they are good at most chain theaters. Well worth the money for movie tickets alone.

I am still battling with them over the Entertainment Book offer. I purchased on December 8 when the click thru link on the main website read "750 points per dollar Buy Now". They credited my account 750 total points and I have been trying to get it corrected since then.

I printed a copy of the web page before purchasing for proof of the offer. Unfortunately they don't seem to care and keep insisting that I misunderstood the offer or the offer changed...yeah right, it changed in the 10 seconds it took to print the page and click the link! Their service is terrible and once I get this straightened out I won't be using My Points anymore.

I contacted them again today, I'll keep you posted on the outcome.
