Every year around the holidays a lot of stores and restaurants have offers for buying gift cards and receive a gift card for yourself, for example buy a$20 gift card and get a $5 gift card to use at a later date.

Saw this advertised on the commercial for their limited time only holiday pancakes. There was no voice mention of the offer, just a small print written one at the end of the commercial.

I was in Steak'n'Shake a couple of days ago and there was a sign by the register offering a $5 gift card with any $20 gift card purchase.

I also got an email from Boston Market saying that they will be giving a $5 gift card with a $25 gift card purchase, but the offer expires November 22.

I was at Blockbuster last night and there was a sign that said buy $50 get $5. Not much in my opinion. lol

Just got my DSW Rewards newsletter - and if you purchase a $50.00 gift card (in store or online) November 14th - December 24th you will get a $10.00 Bonus card. Yay Shoes!!

I love this thread, got a lot of good deals from last year's similar thread. I know for the last several year's BD's Mongolian BBQ has offered a GC for buying one. I am still waiting to see it on their website.
