Default Re: Where to store BTFE, UPCS, and Points off boxes

I'm going through some older threads to clean up this forum and ran across this neat little thread about storing BTFE, etc! Thought I'd share!

BUMP!!

I do the ziploc baggie in a drawer routine - but sometimes I feel like stapling it to my 10 year olds head b/c he can never remember to put them in there before recycling the box. He is also bad about recycling - luckily I catch most of them!

This might sound crazy, but it works for me... I use a Cottonelle flushable wipes empty container for BTFE... One could also use an empty baby wipes container instead.

I was going to say something like that. I use an empty huggies wipe container because it has a little pop top and slot on the top of it so it's easy to slip stuff into it with out having to open the whole box

The back to school inserts that had a Kleenex coupon had an ad with decorations to clip and glue to your empty kleenex box and use for collecting the BTFE in. I'd be too worried that it would be dropped and spill, or being in the kitchen that it would get soggy and ruin the BTFE inside.

I keep an empty ziploc bag box on the counter. I can just toss them in and when it's redemption time I split them up between the 2 kids classes.

Default Re: Where to store BTFE, UPCS, and Points off boxes

My husband is trained not to throw any boxes/bottles/cans or anything that MIGHT have something on it, away.
I go thru and pull off the btfe, clfe upc's or whatever off them, and put them in a drawer. Every so often, I trim what's in the drawer, pull the btfe & clfe and put them in the bag I have for them. I keep the 2 newest dates (currently 12/08 and 6/09) in seperate bags, so I make sure they get turned in during those collection periods. I currently have about 1500 btfe in my bag, but to make sure that my son wins the "most turned in" I always keep some for the next collection period... :)

All these ways of storing BTFE is great. As a BTFE cordinator the more you save in BTFE.The less (candy bar sales)your school will have to do.BTFE is the #1 school fund raiser.
